Designed by Abdallah Hatoum for Orient 499, this golden wall mural brings together luminous leafage and poetry, in an ode to the greenery that grows on city walls. Hidden among its leaves is a quatrain by 11th century poet Omar Khayyam about the night and the joys of life. Made of fire torched brass leaves, stainless steel flowers and steel covered with gold leaf.
