Designed by Marcantonio for Seletti, Love in Bloom is a heart-shaped vase, portraying the anatomy of feelings. Veins and arteries form a network of bud vases ready to hold a unique and extravagant floral composition. A modern love translated into a romantic and unpredictable gift.
Now available as part of the Kintsugi collection, the Love in Bloom vase sports seams of gold, inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese practice of enhancing and repairing broken ceramics with gold and silver. Featuring porcelain fragments in different patterns, the veins holding the pieces together are made from precious 24ct gold for an added touch of luxury.
In this evolutionary creation, flowers were put into the heart through the veins, as if the heart were the bulb from which the buds of feelings bloom. The heart has lived, and now with the pieces joined by gold, it tells us its history with a strong identity and brilliant aesthetics.
