Description
Stylish and functional, the Hammershøi teapot is a part of the popular Hammershøi series from Kähler created by designer Hans-Christian Bauer and named for Svend Hammershøi an influential artistic designer for Kähler in its early years.
The white porcelain teapot from the Hammershøi range is perfect for luxurious moments and get-togethers at home over a well-brewed cup of tea. The teapot has an elegant, modern design with a decorative, brass-coated handle and a practical built-in strainer, which easily separates the tea leaves from the tea, if you brew your tea in the traditional way.
About the Brand
Kähler represents Nordic design and gastronomy, coupled with the great respect for its more than 175-year-old heritage and tradition - a brand universe in which all are welcome, where the emphasis is on authentic experience.
Started in 1839 by potter Herman J. Kähler, it was not until his son, Herman A. took over the workshop in 1875 that the company became known globally. With production of international art ceramics, the foundation was laid for one of the great success stories in Danish ceramics. Kähler was a family-run company for four generations until 1974, and a meeting place of distinguished artists. With handicraft experience passed down from generation to generation and great insight into the versatile molding potential of clay, Kähler has now been at the cutting edge of Danish ceramic art for more than 175 years.
