Description

Designed by Enea Mazotti as a reinterpretation of Ellipsis collection objects, these porcelain vases have become a new collection with its own soul and personality. The holes, typical of the Ellipsis collection which is named for the Greek word for ‘lack’, here are filled with meaning; a luxuriant and rebellious nature that breaks the minimal look of these sculptures and creates a dialogue between the inside and the outside. The hole as a glimpse of inner reality playfully reveals a balance of opposites between universal symbols and hidden messages The result is a collection of unique pieces, filled with meaning and completely handmade, each different from the other.

A limited-edition creation of 25 numbered pieces, Inside Out vase contrasts a soft moss layer with the austere and artificial shape of the vase, communicating a lost balance between the human and natural world, and the importance of an equilibrium for a future of peaceful coexistence and cooperation.
