Inspired by traditional karak tea, this Karak tea scented candle captures the warmth of black tea simmered with milk and spice. Rich, familiar, and comforting, the scent creates a grounded atmosphere suited for quiet evenings, intimate gatherings, and everyday rituals.
Each candle is hand poured using 100% ultimate soy wax and premium fragrance oils for a clean, even burn. Poured into a reusable porcelain gold cup, the vessel is designed to be repurposed once finished.

About the Brand
Akun began as an idea to create something meaningful, blending design and culture in a way that people could feel connected to. With her background in architecture and design, Amera Al Awadhi wanted to craft pieces that carried both beauty and emotion, something that would reflect the spirit of Arab hospitality.
Around that time, her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. The idea of Akun suddenly became more than a creative pursuit. It became personal. Candle making turned into a shared ritual between them, a quiet space filled with scent, light and care. In those moments, Amera saw how something simple could bring comfort, presence and memory together.
From that experience, Akun found its purpose. It became a way to give meaning through creation and to keep the warmth of home alive in every piece.

Product care:
* Burn within sight.
* Keep away from things that catch fire.
* Keep away from children and pets.
* When burning more than one candle at the same time, always ensure that at least 20 cm space is left between burning candles.
* Do not let candle burn for longer than one hour once the entire surface of the candle is liquid.
* Do not let the candle burn to the end.
* Do not leave a burning candle unattended or close to easily flammable objects.
* Do not place candles near a source of heat. Put candles on a heat resistant surface.
* To reduce sooting, trim the wick 0.6 cm each time the candle is to be relit.
* Avoid using in drafty areas. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
