Description
Stylish and functional, the Hammershøi Miniature Vases are a part of the popular Hammershøi series from Kähler created by designer Hans-Christian Bauer and named for Svend Hammershøi an influential artistic designer for Kähler in its early years.
These lovely and cozy miniature vases fit nicely together in sets or can be placed around the home. Use the three, sweet miniature vases as decoration in a lovely tableau or on the table filled with little flowers and fresh twigs from the garden. The miniature vases feature the classic Hammershøi furrows inspired by the world-famous artist, Svend Hammershøi, who created his works at Kähler’s old workshop in Næstved.
About the Brand
Kähler represents Nordic design and gastronomy, coupled with the great respect for its more than 175-year-old heritage and tradition - a brand universe in which all are welcome, where the emphasis is on authentic experience.
Started in 1839 by potter Herman J. Kähler, it was not until his son, Herman A. took over the workshop in 1875 that the company became known globally. With production of international art ceramics, the foundation was laid for one of the great success stories in Danish ceramics. Kähler was a family-run company for four generations until 1974, and a meeting place of distinguished artists. With handicraft experience passed down from generation to generation and great insight into the versatile molding potential of clay, Kähler has now been at the cutting edge of Danish ceramic art for more than 175 years.
