Every continent and ocean is shown with absolute clarity and contrast, and it features lines showing the three voyages of Captain James Cook–a design element first created in 1790 by Giovanni Maria Cassini. The map also shows the United States which was very young at the time and not included on many maps. With its smooth, independent rotations, it's like history comes to life in your home or office.

How it works? MOVA Globes turn all on their own, with or without a base, using ambient light. Hidden magnets provide movement, and no batteries or cords are needed.

Product care:
* To remove fingerprints and dust, rinse with water and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
* Do not use any abrasive cleaning solutions.
Recommendations:
* Do not keep MOVA globes exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time to avoid graphics fading.
* Fluorescent lighting, LED lights, and indirect sunlight flowing through the windows provide the most optimal lighting, although MOVA Globes will rotate in any kind of sufficient ambient light. It is suggested that high-powered halogen lights be avoided due to the heat they emit.
Packaging: MOVA Globe comes with easy to assemble 3-pronged acrylic stand, user manual, and product registration.
