TAMES, whose real name is Mehdi Tamessaoudt, is a French contemporary sculptor born in Paris in 1988. Self-taught, he has built a distinctive artistic universe around the cactus, transforming this desert plant into contemporary sculpture. His work blends minimalist shapes, bold colors and refined, automotive-inspired finishes. His sculptures are represented in galleries in France, Spain and Morocco, and his work is now available in the United Arab Emirates.
