Circular Candle Holder

Concentric circles symbolize the universal way in which nature expands, from a center towards infinity. The flame is symbolically located at the very center of the composition, while the concentric circles surrounding it form a dynamic structure. Circular levels are rising towards the top, the source of light. This concept is inspired by ziggurat architecture, a terraced pyramidal temple where layers are leading to the divine, usually represented by light.

VAU represents a collection of design objects for the home and office which combine function and aesthetics. VAU finds inspiration in universal symbols that extend through all aspects of life bringing harmony and timeless beauty into everyday life. By combining function and symbolism, VAU creates new shapes, which are minimal and characteristic.
