The Granny Mug collection shares four distinct designs, each named for a different grandmother. The contemporary-shaped mug depicts an image of a traditional, vintage flower teacup edged in gold.
This unique cup is a meeting between a contemporary porcelain cup and one of an earlier age. It is a symbol of the meeting of young and old that we all should encourage. Named for Filou Mazier who was born on March 18, 1939 in Poitiers, France. She married Guy in 1960, and they had two children, Bernard and Elise. She worked in the Bakery ‘La Mie Caline’ and her hobby is selling antiques at flea markets.
In her own words: “I still help out in the Bakery every day, it keeps me youthful and informed. I think a lack of curiosity is a sign of growing old. I still love to hear people’s stories.”
