Description
Baobab Collection candles are created using high quality raw materials sourced in Europe. The glass is crafted in Poland, the mineral wax comes from Germany, and the scents are created and perfected in Grasse. Each Baobab candle is hand-poured in multiple pouring phases into glass containers that have been hand-blown by master craftsmen, making each candle completely unique.
The Folia collection was inspired by a visit to an art exhibition featuring works by two of the 20th century’s leading artists, Matisse and Bonnard. The exhibition captured a harmony of mutual love of the south, its colors, its vegetation, and the sea, giving rise to the idea of making ceramic pieces with plant motifs, featured in the creations that make up the Folia collection.
From the design to the finished product, it takes all the skill of the Portuguese craftsmen, who have also sourced organic materials to mold into the earth between the scrubland and the sea. In the name of each ceramic candle, homage is paid to this land of the south, where rocks and shrubs create an admirable ‘tableaux vivants’.
The garrigue is a Mediterranean plant formation. Shrubs and aromatic leaves grow on the limestone soil, and lavender flowers, thyme, and eucalyptus can be found there.
The Garrigue scented candle is made from handcrafted ceramic with a debossed pattern of branches and leaves. A matte, mottled yellow glaze covers the ceramic, contrasted by a glossy celadon green glaze on the interior. The colors of this candle are both subtle and decorative, to be placed in any interior like an organic sculpture.
Orange Blossom, Leather, Patchouli: The top note is a floral scent of orange blossom, followed by woody notes in the heart and base, with a hint of leather on a patchouli wood base.

Product care:
* Burn within sight.
* Keep away from things that catch fire.

* When burning more than one candle at the same time, always ensure that at least 20 cm space is left between burning candles.
* Do not let candle burn for longer than one hour once the entire surface of the candle is liquid.
* Do not let the candle burn to the end.
* Do not leave a burning candle unattended or close to easily flammable objects.
* Do not place candles near a source of heat. Put candles on a heat resistant surface.
* To reduce sooting, trim the wick 0.6 cm each time the candle is to be relit.
* Avoid using in drafty areas. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times.
